FORT ASHBY — Ashby’s Fort will host a performance by the Darryl Brenzel Trio on October 19 at 7:00 p.m. Having performed for audiences both domestically and abroad for 26 years with the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors, Darryl Brenzel is a seasoned veteran in the jazz world.
He studied at the renowned Berklee College of Music and has performed with the Boston Pops, Baltimore Symphony, National Symphony, Detroit Symphony, and New York Pops, as well as at the Montreaux, Nice, Northsea, and Newport Jazz festivals.
Brenzel is a music instructor who teaches at Shenandoah University. She has taught jazz at Gettysburg College, Towson University, and other institutions.
