CUMBERLAND- “Nevermore,” which runs through October 27 at the Cumberland Theatre, Chris Nelson is the featured artist in the Beverly Walker Lobby for the Arts.
Public viewing of the art begins one hour prior to each performance. Thursday through Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
Nelson, a well-known and esteemed local artist, was born and raised in Cumberland and attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland. When asked for an artist statement, he offered a lighthearted remark.
Nelson will also be participating in the October 19–20 and October 26–27 weekends of the Western Maryland Artists Studio Tour. Check out the place on www.wmdartiststudiotour.com.
