A Rally rant over Arnold Palmer’s manhood concludes Trump’s tense week on the trail

At a rambling speech on Saturday in Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump concluded a turbulent week on the campaign road by calling Kamala Harris a “sh** vice president” and implying that golfer Arnold Palmer was wealthy.

The Democratic presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, is campaigning in Waterford, Michigan, on Friday. While former President Donald Trump was rallying in Detroit, Harris made a number of trips throughout the state. In Michigan, early voting starts on Saturday.

Trump’s rally speeches in the final weeks of the 2024 campaign mostly follow the same pattern as those earlier in the year: convoluted letters that paint a bleak picture of a Democratic-run America overrun by migrants, promoting a tariff-driven economic plan that is vague, and harshly criticizing his political rivals, particularly Democrats like Harris.

Drawing attention towards Trump energy level

Trump criticized Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren for a long time before claiming that Harris was more “radical left crazy” than both Warren and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

Before landing, Trump asked the crowd whether they enjoyed the flyover his campaign plane had performed and urged them to cast their ballots. On October 9, 2024, Jason Brown spray-painted a blue dot sign in his Omaha, Nebraska driveway.

The former president, who has recently seemed and sounded worn out from attending numerous rallies and interviews every day around several swing states, had an exceptionally spirited rally. In a concluding statement, Harris’ team has made a concerted effort to draw attention to Trump’s energy levels, arguing that the 78-year-old lacks the stamina and fitness to be the nation’s leader.

With just a handful of them remaining in the election, Trump had a difficult week.Trump’s campaign blitz encountered a number of setbacks this past week, with fewer than 17 days until the election’s final votes are cast.

Two medical crises broke out in the sweltering, packed Oaks, Pennsylvania, town hall on Monday. Following the second request for a physician, Trump decided to end the Q&A session and instead play music for over 30 minutes, swaying to his favorite tunes while the audience looked on.

He recorded a Fox News town hall on women’s problems, sat for a heated interview with Bloomberg News on Tuesday, and then gave remarks in suburban Atlanta, sounding solemn.

An Attractive person

Trump referred to himself as the “father of IVF” during his Fox town hall on Wednesday, which was attended exclusively by women. He claimed that Alabama Senator Katie Britt, a “fantastically attractive person,” had to explain what IVF was to him before he would support it.

At a Univision town hall with Latino voters, he also reiterated his unfounded accusations that Haitian migrants in Ohio were consuming pets and referred to the Jan. 6 uprising attempt as a “day of love.” On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump spoke in a town hall in Miami that was organized by Univision and moderated by Enrique Acevedo.

Trump’s comments at a joke-filled Catholic charity dinner in New York on Thursday mostly targeted Harris, who wasn’t there. As he started to discuss tariffs at his rally in Michigan on Friday, the microphone malfunctioned a few minutes into his speech.

Trump has a full week of activities in important states coming up, including another rally in Pennsylvania on Sunday night. With just over two weeks remaining, over 13 million people have already cast ballots in the presidential election.
