Police Are Looking For Driver After Lady Killed In A Hit-and-run Case In NJ

Hours after being hit in a hit-and-run, a lady was discovered in Cumberland County on Tuesday morning. On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at about 1:39 a.m., Millville Police Department officers were called to the Glenside Road area regarding a person who seemed to have been hit by a car, according to the Cumberland County office of prosecutor.

The victim, identified as 21-year-old Caroline Bump of Millville’s Mallard Street, was declared dead at that scene. According to officials, Bump’s body was not found by a passing driver until hours after the incident.

Investigators Are Still Eager In Speaking With Her

It happened at around 11:11 p.m. on the night before October 21, according to a review of neighborhood camera footage. A 2003 silver Infiniti G35 with the New Jersey registration E41RLB is being sought by investigators.

According to the police, the front bumper, windshield, and driver’s side headlight are all damaged. Although they haven’t revealed how Breanna Rowley, aged 22, of Vineland’s Delmar Avenue, is connected to the incident, investigators are still eager in speaking with her. Police have not yet released any additional information regarding this occurrence.
