Texas: The attorney for Suzanne Simpson’s husband, the missing Texas mother of four, filed a motion to visit his four children while he is in detention. Stephen Gilmore, Brad Simpson’s court-appointed attorney, made the request in a document filed in Bexar County Court No. 7 on Monday.
Motion To Meet Children
Gilmore argued that the court should allow the 53-year-old to communicate with his four children because none of them are involved in his allegations and he is not deemed a flight risk. The state has not presented any proof that this condition is connected in any way to the safety of the community or an alleged victim, and Brad Simpson’s children are not complainants in this or any other case. Moreover, the defendant poses no flight danger. In order to allow no harmful or injurious contact, counsel asks that the no contact order be changed.
