Camero resigned from their positions in Miami.James Reyes, the public safety chief for Dade County. Fabian Camero suffered a major injury during the training session on June 21.
The following day, Francisco Camero’s 28-year-old son, who was an EMT but not a fireman or employee of the fire department, passed away.
The incident was the subject of an ongoing investigation that also involved training for a team of foreign firefighters. Requests for comments from the three were not answered by the television station.
