A pregnant woman from Gary has gone missing, and her family is begging for her safe return. The last sighting of 25-year-old Emma Baum occurred in Gary on October 10 at 25th Avenue and Connecticut Street.
She was nine months pregnant at the time, and since she has been gone, her family thinks she may have given birth.
According to the description, Baum is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs around 136 pounds, and has brown eyes and hair.
The lady has numerous tattoos and scars on her arms. She is well-known for sporting wigs and hairpieces in a variety of hues and styles.
To help spread the word about her abduction, her family and friends organized a tearful news conference on Friday morning.
Emma was dropped off at her boyfriend’s house before going missing, according to her mother Jamie Baum. He is presently incarcerated on unrelated crimes, they added. According to her relatives, Emma Baum has three more children.
Detective Sgt. M. Salazar of Gary Police is asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact him at 219-881-1209. For months, 13-year-old Ja’Niyah McMichael has also been absent from Gary.
There is no indication from the police that the crimes are related.
