On September 13, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., Brianna Lyn Wilson, 31, of Salem Road, was taken into custody by Fairview Township Police after it was reported that two pedestrians had been hit by a car in the 700 block of Salem Road.

Officers discovered upon arrival that the two people, Lisa and Donald Geta, who were walking their dog, had been injured by the vehicle that had been engaged in the incident, and that the vehicle had left the site. According to the criminal complaint, Donald was found on the ground with “major lacerations to his face” and a lot of blood streaming from it.

First responders helped him. Lisa clarified that as a car turned left onto Salem Road, the two were strolling their dog into the trailer park entrance/exit at 700 Salem Road. Lisa stated in the criminal complaint that she heard the car accelerate just before it hit them.

According to police, the driver extricated himself from the car, exclaimed, “Oh my God,” and then resumed driving. Officers spoke with Lori Dobbins, a neighbor who claimed to have heard the crash, while they searched for the suspected vehicle. The silver automobile Dobbins reported to the police was moving “so fast it was kicking rocks up and sliding around.”

Wilson was the driver at the time of the collision, according to further inquiry, according to the police. Wilson has been denied bail and is being held in York County Prison, as per the charging documents. On Monday, September 30, Magisterial District Judge Joseph E. Spadaccino will hold her preliminary hearing.
