Police have located a 9-year-old child who vanished from his Kansas City, Kansas, home on Saturday afternoon.
On a black bicycle with blue markings, Eli Chavez-Arita departed his residence, which is at the intersection of North 10th Street and Sandusky Avenue, at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.
He was a five-foot-tall, Hispanic child who weighed around 100 pounds, according to the police. In addition to having brown eyes and black hair, he also has a scar on the back of his head that is now hidden by his hair.
The Chavez-Arrita was located and is safe, according to a statement released by the KCKPD on Sunday morning.
