NASHVILLE: On Monday morning, Nashville authorities found a body in the Cumberland River. Just before 12 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the 100 block of 1st Avenue South in Riverfront Park to respond to a corpse call, in accordance with the Metro Nashville Dispatch.
The person had been in the water for a lengthy time, a MNPD (Metro Nashville Police Department) officer at the scene informed News 2.
The reason of death and the identity of the deceased are yet unknown. No other information was made public right away.
