A Cumberland woman was arrested on Saturday following an alleged assault close to Riverside Park, according to Cumberland Police. After reportedly hitting a lady and attempting to strangle her, police charged 30-year-old Keiana Langan with first as well as second degree assault & disorderly behavior.
The victim was set free by the action of a spectator. A little distance from the incident, Langan was hauled into custody and had a circuit court warrant regarding child support served upon him. She was being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on Sunday without bond, awaiting a bail review hearing on Monday.
