Grotto Pub Will Be Closed

The Grotto, one of several businesses that had operated at the property, including The Village Inn, opened in 2009. It was a stopover for ferry passengers arriving on the Susquehanna River in the 1800s and was called the Keystone Hotel. It was renamed the West Fairview Inn around the turn of the century.

Grotto Pub’s Food

The Grotto offered pasta, sandwiches, wings, and seafood such crab legs, mussels, and crab cakes. It was also a well-liked location for Notre Dame football viewing, live music, and trivia. In summary, the Grotto had a devoted following and was a hidden gem. The Callas mentioned in their statement that it’s difficult to say goodbye to the company and its clients.
