CUMBERLAND: The event will be held on Friday, October 18, World Menopause Day, by Healthwatch Cumberland, “an independent organisation set up to champion” local perspectives on health and social care in the Cumberland Council region.
In order to “raise awareness of menopause and the support options available for improving health and well-being,” World Menopause Day is observed annually. Additionally, the “HRTea Party” is a component of the larger “mental health in menopause project” run by Healthwatch Cumberland.
