He is currently being held at the Bexar County Jail on $2 million bail. He is being investigated in connection with his wife’s disappearance. According to court documents that KSAT Investigates was able to get on Tuesday night, Brad Simpson is charged with a federal felony for unlawfully possessing a handgun.

According to the affidavit, investigators found a short-barreled weapon at Brad Simpson’s house that was not registered to him. Investigators investigated the couple’s Olmos Park house on October 9 after executing a search warrant connected to Suzanne Clark Simpson’s disappearance, per an affidavit that KSAT was able to obtain.
