According to a recent social media update from the authorities, Quontay Spinks, 19, was taken into custody in relation to a murder that rocked the Central District on September 14.
The Baltimore Police release, which describes the circumstances behind the arrest, states that Spinks, a resident of Washington, Maryland, is charged with shooting and killing Antonio Peoples. He is of age 36, this incident occurred at the 700 block of Aliceanna Street.
On the day of the event, officers arrived just before midnight to discover Peoples wounded by several gunshot wounds. A local hospital later declared him dead in spite of their efforts.
Justice to Unfortunate Case
In an effort to bring justice to this unfortunate case, investigators from the Warrant Apprehension Taskforce detained Spinks last Friday.
As his case moves through the legal system, Spinks is currently being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility on a first-degree murder accusation.
The deadly September event is currently under investigation by Baltimore Police, who are also seeking any further information.
