According to court documents, Chelsea was freed after posting a $2,000 bond; however, on October 11, she was arrested once more in Oconto County on new felony drug and bail jumping charges. Early November is when she is anticipated to appear in court.
Overcoming fatal illness
Over the weekend, the 62-year-old comedian and TV personality, who adopted Chelsea with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, posted an old picture of her oldest daughter on Instagram. Rosie wrote in the post, “Chelsea is in the news today – this is a photo from a better time – here is the family comment.”
“Unfortunately, this is nothing new for our family—Chelsey has battled drug addiction for ten years, and we all hope she will overcome this fatal illness.”
Rosie and Chelsea had a strained connection over the years, according to People, with Chelsea going missing in 2015 and then showing up in Wisconsin a week later with her birth mother. However, they reconnected in 2018 following the birth of her first born.
