A missing soldier has been discovered dead at U.S. Army Fort Leonard Wood. A press release states that the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division is looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of Sergeant Sarah Roque, age 23.

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. — The Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) and Fort Leonard Wood are requesting the public’s assistance in finding a missing soldier.
Sergeant Sarah Roque, a 23-year-old soldier from the 5th Engineer Battalion, was last seen close to Fort Leonard Wood, according to a Facebook post from the military. Her family and chain of command have been unable to get in touch with her.
In an effort to locate the missing soldier, Fort Leonard Wood and MSCoE are collaborating with other nearby law enforcement organizations. According to the description, Sgt. Roque is a Hispanic woman who weighs around 145 pounds, is 5’2″ tall, has brown eyes, and black hair.
