Three Warrants Led To Arrest Of Lee Eugene Carpenter, Who Is Already Indicted

Cumberland: According to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, a city man was taken into custody Monday after being detained on three warrants, one of which was related to a grand jury indictment in Allegany County.

Lee Eugene Carpenter Was Taken Into Custody

Due to the indictment accusing him of felony drug control and distribution offenses, 45-year-old Lee Eugene Carpenter was taken into custody on a circuit court warrant. In addition, Carpenter received a warrant for not showing up for his felony robbery and theft trial.

According to authorities, Carpenter was handed a third warrant for violating the terms of his pre-trial release. Carpenter was still being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on Wednesday while he awaited circuit court hearings.
