In a frightening occurrence in northwest Miami-Dade, a family is thankful that their 2-year-old son got back from the medical center after being injured by a flare gun.
Lazaro Perez Hernandez & his son Justin were aboard their family boat on Thursday when the toddler opened a drawer that contained the flare rifle, which was a safety precaution.
It Was Captured By The Ring Camera
After grabbing it, Justin began to play with it. At the time, I was really afraid. “Thank God my child is okay and thank God there was nothing serious,” Lazaro stated in Spanish.
The father said that his son didn’t shoot himself, despite what the police claimed, although the gun did go off. The instant it occurred was captured by the ring camera.
Justin Was Only Slightly Hurt
Lazaro claims that his son’s finger and chest were injured by the flare gun’s cap, which must be taken off before starting a fire. Justin was only slightly hurt.
The frightening event, according to the father, serves as a lesson to keep a close watch on kids and ensure that potentially dangerous items, such as flare guns, are out of reach.
