They are also charged of using the stolen automobiles to commit shootings, one of which was the double death of a person & his pregnant fiancée in 2022. According to cops, she passed away but the baby was delivered by doctors.

The Investigation Is Still Ongoing

They are also accused in a string of carjackings that began in 2020 and three nonfatal shootings. At a press conference on Tuesday, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates stated, “This case illustrates the devastating effect a few number of violent individuals can have on our communities.”

Since taking office at the beginning of last year and being elected as the city’s top prosecutor, he described it as one of the most important cases his office has handled. According to Bates, as law enforcement works to bring an extensive criminal operation to an end, the investigation is still ongoing, more arrests are also anticipated.

To strengthen their case, his office collaborated with federal agents and the Baltimore police. Moore and Russell, according to Bates, were hitmen carrying out the directives of other gang members. Bates refused to divulge the gang’s name.

Gang Members Receive Payment For Using Violence

Online court files records regarding this case do not currently list the attorneys for Moore and Russell. Emails were sent to the men’s attorneys in separate pending proceedings in Baltimore County, requesting a response.

According to Bates, gang members receive payment for using violence to achieve the goals of the organization and neutralize threats from other gangs. He said that Baltimore County was the scene of one amongst the seven homicides.
